Mood: Twisting tunnels connect ancient, underground cities, homes of ancient civilizations and deadly monsters.
Smells Like: Dark florals cloaked in shadow, ancient incense drifting from a subterranean temple, and light sandalwood.

The path twists downward, into darkness and silence as the adventurers' torches waver. The wizard pauses to cast light upon the tip of her staff, and the illumination glows around her party, revealing twisting stalagmites and dripping stalactites.
They continue once more, the shuffling of their feet echoing along the passages. Suddenly the path opens up and an eerie violet glow overcomes the warm light from the wizard's staff.
Mushrooms, taller than trees, tower around them and thick moss clings to the rocks. Luminescent spores float towards the ceiling as bats flit above.
The party pauses for a moment, taking it all in, before continuing onward. They have long to travel before they will again see the sun.
