We have been told by several of our drop ship customers that many of the other drop ship companies will promote their businesses with your gifts. They often have their names on the boxes; insert business cards and even brochures. We go in the opposite direction. We not only do not add our stickers and cards to your gifts, we will add yours. Our Drop Ship Partners are able to send us any promotional materials they wish to have added and we will make sure it's included when we ship your gifts. We even go a step further and make sure that even on the mailing label, we use your company name and not ours. We know from experience that when someone receives one of our gift baskets, they will love it and may very well become a customer. By all rights, that new customer should be yours and not ours and your business cards and/or stickers will help to make that a reality.


At Gift Basket Village we limit the number of drop shippers we have at any one time. The reason is, that we, like you, want our gifts to be unique. If you search the various gift basket companies online, you will notice that many of them have the same gifts. Customers notice this as well. If you are the tenth site they have been to with the same products, they most likely won't be excited enough about your gifts to order them. Also, we try to offer a very wide and unique selection of gifts, utilizing not only baskets and boxes, but also many types of containers such as boats, cars and sleighs. Also, we use a lot of gift ware and have a huge selection of gourmet goodies. It's never just more of the same around here; remember this is art to us.

Customer Service:    

We are always here to help you. Have a crazy request? Just ask. Need to change something in a gift or have something special made up? Just ask. We will always try to work with you. As I mentioned, these gifts are made when you order them. Many drop shippers mass-produce their gifts, so special requests are not possible. Their gifts are already made and on a shelf. You need a substitution, upgrade, change of any kind? Just ask. I can't promise that we can always accommodate every request, but I can promise that we will always try.


OK, I know that's not a word, but it should be. What I mean is that working with us is risk free. Most drop ship programs charge you a set up fee, a monthly fee, have a monthly minimum or all three. We only ask for a modest one-time (non refundable) $20 application fee. You simply sell our products on your site or in your store. If later on for any reason you decide to stop, well then, stop. There is no charge or investment other than the time it takes you to upload the images and write descriptions. See, unrisky.


We all know how valuable time is, so here are a few things you should know that relate to time: First, most orders placed before 1pm Central will ship same day. I say "most' because if you place an order for 50 baskets at 12:30pm, we will need more time. Also, the two weeks before Christmas are our busiest and we may need a larger window of time, we will let you know. Second, so that you can place your orders quickly and easily, we have a separate website for our drop ship customers; it's very convenient and easy to log into and use. Your discount is automatic and your information will be in the system. It's simple.

The Bottom Line $$:

How much can you make with us? Here is how it boils down; we offer you 15½% off our retail price for each gift basket, plus $12.95 UPS Ground Shipping. (UPS Ground is 1-6 days in transit and the most preferred shipping method by most of our customers.) Using the average size/priced gift basket to calculate this, your discount averages out to 29.5%. On top of that, you can feel free to raise prices. Because of the uniqueness factor, you shouldn't have the problem of the site next to yours selling the same thing for less.


You will have to be approved to be one of our drop ship partners. That is not to say that if you are a new company, with limited sales, that we will decline your application. Everyone has to start somewhere. Our main focus, when deciding who to accept, is on our reputation and that of our other drop ship customers. For one, as I have mentioned, we do limit how many companies we sell to in order to remain unique. This is still a relatively new faze of our business so, as of now, there are still openings into our program. Another reason we may need to decline someone is to protect our image. We don't want to see our "art" sold along side power tools and underwear on EBay, for example. Also, if you are approved and later decide to start selling something we don't think appropriately fits our image, such as in the above scenario, we may have to reevaluate our relationship with you at that time and changes may need to be made.

I know this is a lot of information but I strongly believe that if you are going to sell someone's products and enter into a working relationship with them, you should know as much as you can about that company. Here's how it works:

We offer you the convenience of one-stop shopping and the capacity to drop ship direct to your customers all with the convenience of our secure web site. After joining our Re seller Drop Ship Program, just follow these simple steps to fill every order you receive!

1. You place our product images and your own descriptions on your website, use our retail prices or set your own. Your customers will order products directly through you (or your website).

2. You enter the order at, using your own personal login information. Make sure to enter the customer's correct shipping information and gift message. Enter your e-mail address in order to receive the order confirmation information and shipping tracking number. You will pay using your company's credit card, NOT the customer's card. Remember we are charging you and you are charging the customer.

3. You will receive an e-mail order confirmation that will include all the information pertaining to your order. This e-mail confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address that you enter in the order form (should be yours, NOT the customer's).

4. We will use the gift card message you provide (we hand write them) and ship directly to you or your customer using the shipping method you specified in the order process.

5. We will not be including any of our promotional materials such as our business cards or basket labels, so if you would like us to use any of your promotional materials please send them to us.
